Emilio and Maria Comacho, a Puerto Rican couple living Hartford, CT after being forced to leave their home Island after Hurricane Maria in 2017 share on their experiences living through the tragedy, and moving to a new land so late in life. Emilio, a US Army Veteran reflects on the difference in VA health care services provided in Connecticut compared to in Puerto Rico. The couple also shares on the rumors they heard about the dangers of life in Hartford before arriving, in contrast with the friendly reception they have actually received.
