For our first regional celebration, we worked with The Art of Yum as our venue and caterer, and local musician Scott Keys to set the vibe for this warm and loving celebration. We want to give a big shout out to Community Educator and Organizer, Roslyn Sotero for connecting us with artists, venues, and restaurateurs, and sharing with us the things that make the heart of her city tick.

We committed to working with vendors, musicians, caterers, photographers, printers, and artists from the communities in which our events were held. We prioritized working with people of color, and particularly women of color, to produce these events. We understand that ending racism and poverty requires a commitment to economic justice.
