She shares on how meeting people where they are and being accepting of them helps people to show up and be engaged in the work for the long term. She also speaks about the cultural challenges of opening up about her Puerto Rican family and history while participating in Story Week with Bill Graustein, and how that experience helped her to realized something very special and important about herself and her skills at connecting with other people.
